- shortening - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- flour 2
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cream of tartar - 1 tsp
How to make arizona sugar cookies
Mix well shortening, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla and egg. Sift and add flour, soda, salt and cream of tartar. Roll in small balls. Roll in sugar. Do not flatten. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
