Ingredients/Compontents of Broccoli orange salad recipe
- fresh broccoli florets about 1 1/2 lb 4
- medium purple onion, chopped - 1/2 item
- raisins 1/2
- pecan pieces 1/2
- low-fat mayonnaise 3/4
- sugar 1/4
- white vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- can mandarin oranges, drained - 1 oz
How to make broccoli orange saladCombine first four ingredients in a bowl; set aside. Combine low-fat mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar, add to broccoli mixture. Stir gently to coat. Carefully stir in mandarin oranges. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours or overnight before serving. (It can be served immediately, but it's better after some refrigeration.)
