- milk - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour 1

- brown sugar - 1 c
- evaporated milk - 3 Tbsp
- coconut - 1 c
- nuts, chopped - 1 c
How to make california sunshine cookies
Filling:1/4 c. butter1 c. brown sugar3 Tbsp. evaporated milk1 c. coconut1 c. nuts, chopped Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, milk, vanilla and flour. Mix well. Bake in shallow pan at 350° until done.Filling: Mix butter, brown sugar, milk and coconut. Cook until thick. Add 1 cup chopped nuts. Spread on cake and return to oven. Let brown; cool. Cut in squares.
