- medium onion - 1 item
- can mushrooms, cut in small pieces - 1 oz
- stick margarine - 1 item
- box wild and long grain rice - 1 item
- cans cream of chicken or mushroom soup - 2 item
How to make chicken and wild rice casserole
Boil chicken; remove from bone and cut in small pieces. (Reserve broth.) Cook rice according to package using chicken broth instead of water. Saut?© celery, onion and mushrooms in margarine. Combine rice, chicken soup and saut?©ed vegetables and pour in a casserole. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
