- plain flour - 2 c
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- oil - 1/2 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- eggs, lightly beaten - 2 item
- soda - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- In pan, put margarine, oil, cocoa and water

- box confectioners sugar - 1/2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- nuts - 1/2 c
How to make chocolate cake
Sift together the first ingredients. In pan, put margarine, oil, cocoa and water. Bring to a boil. Pour over flour mixture and stir well. Add buttermilk, eggs, soda and vanilla. Mix well. Batter is thin. Bake 20 minutes at 400°.Icing:6 Tbsp. milk1 stick margarine4 Tbsp. cocoa1/2 box confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla1/2 c. nuts Boil first 3 ingredients. Add sugar, vanilla and nuts. Beat until smooth. Ice cake hot.
