Cold chicken and pasta salad
Ingredients/Compontents of Cold chicken and pasta salad recipe
- boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked, cooled, and cubed - 4 item
- box any kind pasta spiral, macaroni, ziti cooked according to package directions, drained and cooled - 1 item
- frozen peas, rinse in cool water to thaw and drain 1
- pecan halves 1
- red, seedless grapes, sliced in half 1
- chopped green onion 1/2
- sliced celery 1
- Dressing:1 1/2 c Mix
- Miracle Whip light salad dressing - 1 c
- basil, to taste 1
- garlic salt, to taste 1/4
- each of salt and pepper, to taste 1/4
- pinch of onion salt - 1 item
- milk 1/4
How to make cold chicken and pasta salad
Mix all ingredients together in a large serving bowl.Dressing:1 1/2 c. Hellmann's light mayonnaise1 1/2 c. Miracle Whip light salad dressing1 tsp. basil, to taste1/4 tsp. garlic salt, to taste1/4 tsp. each of salt and pepper, to taste pinch of onion salt1/4 c. milk Mix dressing ingredients in a separate bowl. Blend until smooth. Pour on chicken salad. Stir well, cover and refrigerate. If salad is too dry at time of serving, you may add Miracle Whip or mayonnaise to moisten. Serves 8-10 people.
