- butter or oleo - 1 c
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
How to make crisp swedish sugar cookies
Beat butter, sugar, salt, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add the flour, soda and cream of tartar. Roll in small balls and dip in sugar. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 5 dozen cookies.
