Ingredients/Compontents of Cry babies recipe
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
- plus 2 Tbsp - 1 c
- molasses - 1 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- cake flour, sifted 4
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking soda 1
- shredded coconut - 2 c
- walnuts, chopped - 2 c
- raisins 1
- milk - 1 c
How to make cry babies
Cream shortening; add sugar, molasses and eggs. Sift dry ingredients; combine with coconut, walnuts and raisins. Add all dry ingredients alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Drop by tablespoon on greased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 10 minutes. Makes 9 1/2 dozen.
