Gingersnaps
Ingredients/Compontents of Gingersnaps recipe
- shortening - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- egg - 1 item
- molasses - 1 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- flour - 5 c
- soda 1
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- ginger - 1 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- cloves, ground - 1 tsp
How to make gingersnaps
Mix all ingredients. Chill for 3 hours. Pinch off about 2 teaspoons of dough and roll into a ball with hands. Press with glass dipped in sugar and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for about 8 minutes.
