- margarine - 1/3 c
- 3 oz - 1 pkg
- flour - 1 c
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- raspberry preserves - 1/4 c
- chocolate chips
- shortening/margarine - 1 Tbsp
How to make grandma carrie's tea tarts
Chocolate Glaze:1/2 c. chocolate chips1 Tbsp. shortening/margarine Beat margarine and cream cheese on a med-high speed for 30 seconds or until softened. Add flour and sugar. Beat until well mixed. Form into a ball. Roll out dough (half at a time) on a floured surface (to about 1/8 inch thickness). Cut into 2-1/2 inch circles. Spoon about 1/2 tsp. preserves into center of each circle. (Do not overfill.) Fold circle in half to form a semi-circle. Dip fork in water and crimp the round edge of dough to seal. Bake at 425 for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.CHOCOLATE GLAZE: Melt together. Dip cooled cookies into chocolate mix. Set on wax paper to set.
Makes 18 cookies.
