Ingredients/Compontents of Hard candy recipe
- sugar 3
- Karo 1
- water - 1 c
- flavoring oil - 1 tsp
- food color - 1 item
- powdered sugar - 1 item
How to make hard candy
Mix sugar, Karo and water. Stir to dissolve and boil to 310° on candy thermometer (crack stage). Add flavoring and color. Pour onto foil lined with powdered sugar (thick layer). Cool slightly and cut with sharp scissors into squarish shapes.
