- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cherry juice - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- drained pitted cherries - 4 c
- 9-inch baked pie shell - 1 item
How to make sour cherry juice
Combine cornstarch and sugar. Gradually add cherry juice. Heat to boiling over direct heat and then boil gently for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Add butter, lemon juice and drained cherries. Mix thoroughly. Pour into baked pie shell. Makes 1 (9-inch) pie.
