- - 3 oz Philadelphia cream cheese - 1 item
- c butter - 1/2 item
- c sifted flour - 1 item

- c brown sugar - 3/4 item
- Tbsp soft butter - 1 item
- tsp vanilla - 1 item
- dash of salt - 1 item
- c broken pecans or walnuts - 2/3 item
How to make teatime tassies
Filling:1 egg3/4 c brown sugar1 Tbsp soft butter1 tsp vanilla dash of salt2/3 c broken pecans or walnuts Soften cream cheese and butter. Blend. Add flour, chill pastry slightly. Shape into 1 dozen 1-inch balls. Press in sides and bottom of 1 3/4 inch muffin tin (mini-muffins).Filling: Beat egg, sugar, butter, vanilla and salt until smooth. Divide 1/2 of nuts among lined pastry cups. Add filling, top with rest of nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. (Don't grease or flour pans - Pastry will be greasy enough to lift out of pan.)
