  • milk - 1 c
  • oleo - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • flour - 1 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • can tuna - 1 item
  • diced Swiss cheese - 1/2 c
  • cream - 1 Tbsp
  • beaten egg - 1 item

How to make tuna cheese puff

Combine milk, oleo, salt and pepper in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat, then add flour all at once and mix well. Stir in eggs, one at a time, making sure to blend well after each addition. Drain tuna of excess oil and flake it. Stir in tuna, 1/4 cup Swiss cheese and cream to mixture. Spread batter into a greased 9-inch pie plate. Brush the top with the beaten egg and sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 325° for 40 to 50 minutes or until puffed and brown.
